Amin Saud, a shipowner from the Middle East, arrived in Longiano in the 15th century. He had no doubt that this fertile paradise was for him – so he swapped his ships for a piece of land and planted his olive trees.
500 years and 17 generations later the Turchi’s are still producing fabulous olive oil from the self-same groves and Michele and Martina – the youngest generation – are still welcoming visitors with extraordinary hospitality.
